Technique
 
Impacted soils are excavated on site for blending with appropriate stabilisers to render contaminants non-leaching.
Benefits
 
Treatment rates can often be accelerated by using larger equipment/screens etc achieving throughputs of up to 100 tonnes per hour. Overall site treatment timeframes can be reduced from months to weeks.
The design of the treatment process can be used to render contaminants non-leaching thus protecting groundwater and removing the pollutant linkage. Geotechnical characteristics of the soil to be treated can be improved to render poor material useable as sub-base.
